I LOVE THIS ALBUM.... For some of you younger folks (that's scary) an album is "A phonograph record, especially a long-playing record stored in a slipcase".March 19, 1975 - Dressed To Kill is released. The album includes Rock And Roll All Nite, a soon-to-be rock-anthem for the generations and, more importantly, for my household.....
On the album cover each member is wearing a business suit, but none of them owned one at the time nor did they fit right. So they had to borrow suits from their manager Bill Aucoin.
This album is full of great hits, one of my favorites covered by SKID ROW and not a bad version - Come on and Love Me.
In 1975, KISS appears live on NBC-TV’s Midnight Special, as the band’s over-the-top live performances begin to solidify their reputation as the Hottest Band in the World.
On a side note - It is unfortunate still to this day that KISS is not in the Rock & Roll Hall of fame. This band in whatever version (makeup or non makeup) has influenced many bands, broke seating records, sold millions of albums, CD's and DVDs. In 2008 - celebrating their 35th anniversary - the first show's attendance was 55,000.... Today's bands - sorry can't do it....
