Kinder-Grad

So last Thursday, Krista graduated Kindergarten. We can not believe how fast this year went. It was an unbelievable experience seeing Krista mature over the school year. She went from a teary eyed girl one September morning because she didn't want to leave us to a teary eyed girl that didn't want School to end (that will change in time when she gets real homework).

Krista had so much fun this year - lots of new friends, she really did enjoy learning, going on field trips, student of the week (February) and month (March) -we were very proud.

Krista's favorite and I quote her "Recess is my favorite".

When the parents had orientation and her teacher explained the curriculum, we were blown away that she would be able to read and write (all that good stuff). Now we get busted when we try to be sneaky parents and spell out while we communicate. That doesn't work anymore - thanks a lot Kindergarten.

Graduation day was great. We had a wonderful ceremony in the auditorium. The kids sang songs, watched a recap video and received there diplomas. Even Ashlyn behaved.

So 1st grade will be here soon enough then it is off to look at colleges...
